CIA Chief David Petraeus resigns, citing affair

CIA Director David Petraeus

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WAVE) – CIA Director David Petraeus has resigned, citing an extra-marital affair, NBC News is reporting.

Petraeus had been expected to stay on the job during President Obama's second term, according to the Associated Press.
