Invading our waters: Monday at 11 p.m.

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - There's something in the water. It's a danger to our rivers, lakes, streams, and anyone on them. This big problem is getting even bigger in Kentucky and Indiana. Monday night at 11:00 on WAVE 3 News, join John Boel as he jumps in a boat with the people trying to warn us about the threat. He'll investigate why it's happening and what is being done to protect our waterways.

Now, don't worry, it's not killer sharks or giant anacondas. And just when you think it's safe to go back in the water…it is. The problem is more delicate than that and one that has crept up around here in the last few years. The risk of not addressing it is simply too unknown to ignore. Watch this raw video as we investigate for ourselves, then tune in Monday at 11:00p.m. on WAVE 3 News to find out exactly what it is that has John Boel so intrigued and worried about his weekend fishing trips around Kentuckiana.
