Newly elected board member named in lawsuit

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A man who was just elected to the Jefferson County School Board is being named in a lawsuit.

According to a complaint filed by Attorney Teddy Gordon, David Jones Jr. has a conflict of interest.

Jones is the son of the founder of Humana and currently has active interest in companies that sell products directly to JCPS.

Jones has not commented publicly on the case.
