Fourth Street Live!LOUISIVLLE, KY (WAVE) – The Pub has announced its closure.
The restaurant, located at Fourth Street Live! has been serving customers for eight years.
On their website The Tavern Restaurant group posted;
"We are grateful to our staff for their dedication and hard work. We have enjoyed being a part of the Louisville Community for the past eight years and thank all of our loyal patrons."
Tuesday, a lawyer representing the
owners of The Pub said the closing of the restaurant has to do with the fees
being paid to the landlord, who is the Cordish Company.
WAVE 3 was told tenants on Fourth
Street Live! Are required to pay their lease fees, as well as addition fees
call cam fees.
The owners of The Pub refused to pay
the fees and are being evicted.
Now, the owners of the restaurant are
suing the Cordish Company.
WAVE 3 reached out to the Cordish Company who owns Fourth Street Live! for comment, but they have not responded.
