Boil water advisory in effect for Mount Washington

MT WASHINGTON, KY (WAVE) – A boil water advisory has been issued in Mount Washington.

The Mount Washington Water Company issued the warning on Tuesday for the Greenbriar subdivision between Flatlick Road and the Wilcar subdivision.

Those in the affected areas are advised to boil their water for three minutes before using it.

Residents should also turn off their ice makers during this advisory and once lifted, they should dispose of the first two or three batches of ice. The advisory is in effect until further notice.
