Police searching for suspect in shooting death

LOUISIVLLE, KY (WAVE) – Police are still searching for the person who shot and killed a man.

Around 10:30 Sunday night, officers discovered Joseph Cothron, 29, had been shot on 16th Street near Plymouth Court, near his home.

Cothron was taken to a hospital where he died.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the anonymous tip line at (502) 574-LMPD.
