LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - An exhibit
featuring real human body parts is coming to the Science Center in downtown Louisville.
Body Worlds Vital is a 6,000 square foot exhibit that will show visitors
how changing behavior, such as quitting smoking and eating better, can affect the
way people live and their quality of life.
The exhibit will show this through
displays comparing body parts, for example a diseased lung and a healthy lung
side by side.
Joanna Haas, the executive director at
the Science Center said, "The health realities of our region are bleak with
nearly every segment of our population suffering in some way."
The exhibit will be on display at the Science
Center from January 20 through May 19.
