Hospital employee allegedly stole patients person information

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A woman is charged with stealing personal information from a patient and using the information to open a credit card.

Police arrested Leslee Ballard on Wednesday.

According to officers, in September Ballard stole a Jewish Hospital patients date of birth and social security number.

Ballard was an employee at the hospital.

An arrest report also said Ballard had a loan wired to her bank account using the victim's personal information.

Ballard admitted to the crimes to police.
