Sign affidavit says man killed young father

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) – The man accused of killing a young father at an apartment complex admitted to firing the fatal shots.

In a signed affidavit, Antonio Walker admitted to shooting and killing Paris Hamilton, 25, Tuesday night at the French Quarter Apartments.

Walker said he and Hamilton were in an altercation when he pulled out a revolver and fired five shots.

Hamilton was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hamilton's wife said she was with her husband visiting a friend at the time of the shooting.
