Man pleads not guilty to murdering a young father

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) – The man accused of killing a young father in the heat of an argument pleaded not guilty.

Thursday, Antonio Walker appeared before a judge.

Walker is charged with murder in the shooting death of Paris Hamilton, 25, at the French Quarter apartments on Tuesday.

Despite the plea, police said walker admitted to having a handgun on him and firing five shots at Hamilton.

Walker is being held without bond.
