CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A car hit a gas main at a BP station in Campbellsville Saturday afternoon, causing a fire, according to emergency crews on the scene.

Investigators said the car nearly hit a man before crashing into the gas main.

"I jumped out of the way. It missed me by about five, six feet at the most," said Irwin Davis.

Four people were inside the car. Two people were taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Investigators believe the driver of the car may have suffered a seizure.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire before it spread to neighboring buildings.
