Kentucky teen disappears while deer hunting

Posted: Updated:

TILTON, KY (WAVE) – Emergency workers were trying to find a missing eastern Kentucky teenager who disappeared while hunting with his father on Saturday in the Tilton area of Fleming County.

Ricky Dean Hamilton, 15, failed to meet back up his father at a designated area Saturday afternoon, so the family called for help.

Fleming County fire crews and Rowan County search and rescue crews looked for Hamilton well into Saturday night. The search resumed on Sunday.

Police said both Hamilton and his father are well-acquainted with the wooded area where Ricky disappeared.
