JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) – The Clark County School Board  voted on the resignation of a Jeffersonville High School assistant principal accused of shoplifting.

David Milburn submitted his resignation opting for early retirement after a shoplifting charge came to light.

Tuesday, the school board voted to approve his resignation.

Miburn served as interim principal at the high school for about a week before he was charged with shoplifting at a Louisville WalMart where he had a second job.

New charges in Clark County said Milburn sold an iPad stolen from WalMart to a Jeffersonville High School student for $400.
