BARDSTOWN, KY (AP) - Bardstown is celebrating its new title of Most Beautiful small town with a special postmark.
The city received the designation in the Rand McNally/USA Today Best of the Road contest and was featured on the Travel Channel.
The postmark will be unveiled at 10 a.m. EST Wednesday at the old Bardstown Courthouse. Customers can buy holiday stamps and have the special postmark applied to greeting cards from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 1, 8 and 15 during Santa on the Square, or during regular business hours at the Bardstown Post Office.
Or send a stamped card or letter in a larger stamped envelope to: Postmaster, P.O. Box 9998, Bardstown, KY 40004-9998.
Danville was a runner-up in the Most Beautiful category, and Murray was named Friendliest.
