LIBA launches shopping contest

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Buying local can really pay off this holiday season.

The Louisville Independent Business Alliance launched their 2012 Shift your Shopping Contest Wednesday morning.

This holiday season, consumers who purchase items from five local businesses and keep their receipts will have a chance to win $1,000 to spend in LIBA member businesses.

To enter to win, take your receipts to either Feeders Supply or Highland Cleaners by January 7, 2012.
