LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE)- If you're looking to make a big purchase on an appliance this holiday season, here's an easy way to find some cash in your stocking.
Louisville Gas and Electric and Kentucky Utilities offer rebates ranging from $50 to $300 on certain ENERGY STAR certified refrigerators, clothes washers, dish washers, freezers and heat pump water heaters.
To apply, start your application online at www.lge-ku.com/rebate or by calling 1800-356-5467.
You'll receive a copy of your application by mail for your signature and once you return it you should receive your rebate check within 6 to 8 weeks.
Another way to get cash back is to schedule an appointment with LG&E and KU to haul away your old, working full-size refrigerator or freezer and get an additional $30.
