YMCA holds annual Turkey Day Fun Run

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – While many people spent Thanksgiving stuffing their faces, others celebrated the holiday at the annual YMCA Turkey Day Fun Run in Lyndon.

A number of events were held for adults, and children ages 10 and under participated in a turkey trot.

YMCA officials said the fun run gives families and individuals a chance to burn a few calories before sitting down for their Thanksgiving feast.
