LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The Salvation
Army and Sullivan University teamed up to feed hundreds of people in need a hot
Thanksgiving meal.
Most of the food was prepared at
Sullivan, then transported to the Salvation Army's Male campus.
More than 800 people were expected to
visit the location for Thanksgiving dinner.
Major Michael Hawley, Salvation Army
commander for the Louisville area, said nearly the entire meal, including the
plates, napkins and silverware, was donated by community and corporate
