3rd annual Free Coat Exchange a success

Donated coats helped those in need. Donated coats helped those in need.

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The Louisville community gave back to those both big and small Friday.

The 3rd annual Free Coat Exchange was held at several locations across Louisville.

Those fortunate enough to have extra jackets were asked to donate one of their fall or winter coats. In return, those less fortunate this holiday season could stop by and pick one out free of charge.  

At the end of the day, all the extra coats were donated to local non-profit organizations.
