EASTGATE, OH (FOX19) -
Employees were laid off from the new Jungle Jim's Eastgate store, says a spokesperson.
The store would not specify the exact number, but says fewer than 30 workers were let go.
According to store officials, too many were hired during a job fair for the new Eastgate location, resulting in the layoffs.
Workers did not lose their jobs due to performance and could be potentially hired back when there is a turnover.
The store originally hired almost 400 workers when it opened in September.
