Police: Mother used daughter to help shoplift

LOUISIVLLE, KY (WAVE) – A mother is facing charges accused of having her daughter help her shoplift.

According to police, Rebecca Huff and her daughter loaded a cart at the Kmart on Outer Loop with nearly $3,000 worth of merchandise and pushed it out of the store without paying.

Police arrested Huff and charged her with shoplifting and unlawful transaction with a minor.

Huff told police her daughter "knew what she was doing."
