Mother accused of biting, hitting her child

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A mother was arrested years after being accused of hitting and biting her toddler.

Louisville Metro police severed a warrant for Kenyetta Lewis on Saturday night.

According to a police report file din 2009, Lewis struck her then 3-year-old child on numerous occasions from November 1 to November 8, 2008.

A daycare worker notified police of the abuse stating Lewis would hold her child in the air and hit him with a closed fist.

The worker who reported the abuse stated the child had bruising to the face caused from slapping and a bite mark to the child's right thigh where she had bit him.
