Police: Man robs store for cash, cigarettes

SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Police are searching for a man they said robbed a convenience store.

According to Shepherdsville police, around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday a man entered the Circle K on Highway 44 near Raymond Road.

He was wearing a ski mask and dressed in camouflage.

The man threatened the clerk with a gun and took cash from the register along with a large box containing cartons of Marlboro brand cigarettes before fleeing.
