CLARK COUNTY, IN (WAVE) – Two business partners, previously charged for running a prostitution ring, have been arrested and charged with racketeering.
According to Indiana State Police, at 7 a.m. Thursday morning they arrested Ivan Deleon, 36, and Jeana Kaufman, 38, after an investigation determined they failed to file and pay state income taxes.
The unpaid taxes were from a business the two operated from November 2010 to August 2011 called My 1501 Studio. The business was shut down after it was revealed prostitution was occurring inside.
Deleon and Kaufman are also charged with corrupt business influence, sales tax evasion, income tax evasion and theft.
They are being held in the Clark County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
