Homicide investigation in Jeffersonville

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) – Police in Jeffersonville are conducting an investigation at the scene of a homicide.

Det. Sgt. Todd Hollis with the Jeffersonville Police Department tells WAVE 3 a man was found dead in his apartment in the 300 block of Spring Street above the Locker Room.

The call was received around 4:30 a.m. Hollis said the man, reported to be in his 40s, died as a result of a violent crime.

The name of the man killed has not been released, and police have not said if they have a suspect in the case.
