Coach Charlie Strong

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - It is easy to see why Coach Charlie Strong would be wanted by other schools.

After a 10 -2 regular season and a 2nd straight Big East Championship, Strong was named one of the American Football Coaches Association Regin One Coach of the Year.

Strong has guided the Cardinals to a record 24-14 record in three seasons.

The coach is in good company, coaches chosen from other regions include Brian Kelly from Notre Dame, Kevin Sumlin from Texas A&M, Bill Snyder of Kansas State and Mike Riley from Oregon State.
