PRESCOTT, AZ (CBS5) -

Police have arrested a man in the Nov. 16 death of a 52-year-old Prescott man.

Prescott police said Charles "Chuck" Todd, 61, of Henderson, NV, was arrested by Henderson police on Nov. 24 after he admitted his role in the death of David Mueller.

Todd was a friend of the Mueller family and spent some time with the victim's wife, Cynthia Mueller, in both Prescott and Henderson, police said.

Prescott police said they served search warrants in Henderson, Boulder City and Prescott, where they found evidence related the homicide.

The Yavapai County Medical Examiner's Office did an autopsy and found that the results were consistent to Todd's story. The exact cause of death is not being released at this time.

Todd is being held in Nevada as he awaits extradition on first-degree murder charges.
