LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – LG&E is
making a nearly $1 billion investment to retrofit its Mill Creek power plant and
that means it needs workers – 700 of them, in fact.
The utility company is contracting
work through Zachry Industrial.
A variety of
jobs will be available through December 15, 2015. The length of employment will
be determined by project need.
The types of
jobs for which Zachry will be hiring include industrial skilled labor ranging from laborer positions to craftsmen
such as form carpenters, millwrights, ironworkers, pipefitters and
electricians.
