Anna Stelzig appeared in jail court on Friday and entered a not guilty plea.
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A woman
accused of stealing thousands of dollars from sick and elderly people pleaded
not guilty to theft by deception charges on Friday.
Anna Stelzig gave fake checks to a
Scottsburg, IN man battling a brain tumor in exchange for cash, according to
police.
Stelzig is also accused of using a
credit card belonging to an Alzheimer's patient to pay her own personal bills
and other items.
Stelzig is being held on a $10,000
bond.
