LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Charges will be filed in the case of a former Christian Academy of Louisville student who survived a five-story fall out a window during a party near the Penn State campus in Pennsylvania, according to the Center Daily Times.
At least two people will face misdemeanor charges for allegedly giving alcohol to minors, State College (PA) Police Chief Tom King told the paper.
The October 13 accident left Paige Raque, 19, of Louisville with severe brain damage and a crushed pelvis.
It remains unclear whether the cheerleader, a sophomore the university, was drinking at the off-campus party.
Raque is now in Louisville continuing her recovery.
Investigators said it could be two weeks before the charges are filed because the lead investigator is seriously ill.
