NEW ALBNAY, IN (WAVE) - A scheduled hearing for an accused serial killer was delayed.
William Clyde Gibson was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday morning, but the appearance was delayed after an issue involving a court worker.
The hearing was postponed until Thursday.
Gibson was arrested in April accused of the death of Christine Whitis, 75.
Police searched his New Albany home and found the body of Clark County mother, Stephanie Kirk, buried in the backyard.
Investigators said Gibson also confessed to murdering Karen Hodella in 2002.
Gibson's trial is set for February.
