Man hospitalized following afternoon shooting - wave3.com-Louisville News, Weather & Sports

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man is taken to the hospital after a shooting in the west end in the middle of the afternoon. 

The shooting happened on Bolling Avenue, in the Park Hill neighborhood.

Police said a man in his 20s was shot and taken to University Hospital.

Louisville Metro Police canvassed the scene talking to neighbors.

Bernice Phillips was home when it all happened. "I heard pow, pow, pow," said Phillips. "I'm surprised it's this time of the day. As early as it is used to hearing gunfire at night time to see somebody has been shot is so surprising."
