Louisville's VA Medical Center
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A woman who formerly worked as a nurse at Louisville VA Medical Center has admitted to tampering with pain medication.
Stephanie Lang entered her guilty plea in federal court Thursday morning.
While worked at the VA, Lang, 34, drained vials of the painkiller, hydromorphone, and filled them with saline. In court, Lang confessed to giving herself the painkiller at work and at home.
Lang will be sentenced in April. She faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine up to $250,000.
