Police: Chase starts after man threatens girlfriend with weapon

BARDSTOWN, KY (WAVE) - A man accused of threatening his girlfriends with a knife has been arrested.

Bardstown police were called to a home on Fern Lea Circle around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday after a women told officers her boyfriend, John Cecil, was threatening her with a knife.

When officer arrived at the home Cecil took off on foot.

Police eventually caught up with him and has to tase him to take him down.

Cecil is charged with wanton endangerment, fleeing or evading police and terroristic threatening.
