LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – An elderly
couple was assaulted and police are searching for two men they say are responsible.
Louisville Metro police released
composite drawings of the suspects.
According to police, in November, the
couple was entering their home on Algonquin Parkway after leaving church when
the suspects forced the couple to the ground at gunpoint, then stole their cash
and prescription pills.
Detective Ryan Scanlin, who is investigating
the case, said the men were ruthless, "They were inside the home. One of the
individuals displayed a handgun and forced the victims to the ground the second
assailant grabbed a large butcher knife and held them to the ground."
