Ann Robinson Burks was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky and is the youngest of 7 children. She began singing when she was 8 years old in the choir at school and decided to sing for her music teacher.
The teacher placed her in a few solos and it all started there.
She is a volunteer at Little Sisters of the Poor and sings monthly for the residents. She also has performed at Light up Louisville, The Festival of Trees and Lights, Shamrock Holiday Shoppe, Winterfest, Iroquois Amphitheater, in local churches and various other venues.
Her goal is to pull people into the music so they feel emotion and what the song is really saying. She said, "Music is a powerful tool and I want to give my voice that tool to reach others."
