LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The Connecticut school tragedy has the country and lawmakers in Washington bringing up the gun control debate.
During a stop to deliver holiday cards for the homeless at Louisville's Wayside Christian Mission, Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY 3rd) addressed the controversial topic of gun control and what's next for the issue in our nation's capital.
"While again it is unlikely that Friday's insane massacre of children could have been prevented by any specific gun control law, it's also undeniable true that the perpetrator of the massacre was a product of a culture that sees guns as a solution to problems, whether psychological or other," said Yarmuth.
Yarmuth went on to say that we must be determined to change that culture.
