LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Police are searching for a gunman who shot a driver of a car, causing the driver to wreck.

The accident happened near Shawnee Park, just before 2 p.m. Monday.

The man, who police have no identified, crashed his car on Shawnee Drive near Herman Street.

Police said three people, including the driver, were inside the car and they believe one of the passengers pulled the trigger.

The shooting victim was transferred to University Hospital, where they remain in critical condition.
