Police called to Jeffersonville Mayor's office

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) - Police were called to the Jeffersonville Mayor's office after a report of a disturbance.

Jeffersonville Police confirmed two officers were called to a disturbance inside Mayor Mike Moore's office at 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon and tell us, they did file a police report.

Jeffersonville Police said because they are still investigating exactly what happened, that's all they can release for now, but multiple sources inside city hall told WAVE 3 News the Mayor's office, which is on the second floor of the Quartermaster building, was trashed and someone inside Moore's office was injured.

Those sources also said, the Mayor's wife, Vicki, who recently filed for divorce was in the office at the time.

We left messages for both the Mayor and his wife.

Police said more information will be released Wednesday.
