Man indicted on child pornography charges

LAWRENCE COUNTY, KY (WAVE) – An eastern Kentucky man was indicted for possession and distribution of child pornography.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's department arrested Thomas Meade, 51, Monday.

On December 14, a grand jury indicted Meade on 14 felony counts. The indictment was the result of an undercover investigation initiated by Attorney General Jack Conway's Cybercrimes Unit in January 2009.

Meade is scheduled to be arraigned on January 2, 2013.
