Men arrested before bank robbery

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Two men who allegedly planned to rob a bank were arrested.

According to arrest reports, on Monday afternoon an officer was driving near the Chase Bank, located at 5340 Bardstown Road, when he saw two men putting on bandannas and hoods in the back parking lot.

Police said they were able to stop the robbery before Paul Moore and Derrick Woods were even able to step foot inside the bank.

According to police, Woods fled, but was quickly caught. Moore was arrested at the scene and admitted to having plans to rob the bank.
