Arrest made after shots fired in car

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Police have made an arrest after a man driving a car was shot, causing him to wreck.

According to Louisville Metro Police, the shooting happened around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Shawnee Drive. Police said a blue car was going south on Shawnee Drive and some sort of altercation took place inside the car. One person was shot inside the car, then the car hit a utility pole and came to a stop in front of a home.

Mark Bolan was arrested and is charged with assault, tampering with physical evidence and wanton endangerment.

The victim was transported to University Hospital and remains in critical condition.
