FLOYDS KNOBS, IN (WAVE) - Dental records confirmed the body found inside a car in Floyd County is that of a missing teenager.

Police found Ethan Bennett's mangled silver Jaguar Friday night at the bottom of a ravine off North Sky Line Drive. The car had gone over a cliff and dropped 750 feet.

Bennett's family said they paid for a private helicopter to search that area because it was an area he had enjoyed.

Bennett had been missing since September 11.

His family announced visitation for their son will be held Thursday from noon to 8 p.m. at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Sellersburg's St. Joe Church.
