The power outage left gifts in the dark Friday afternoon.
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Power has been restored to the Salvation Army.
Friday, a power outage caused the Salvation Army's Angel Tree pickup to be
postponed for those who need to pick up their items from the Male Campus on
South Brook Street.
Several parents were concerned when they showed up and found the doors
locked with a sign posted saying the power is out and they must come back on
January 7.
Parents can pick up their gifts between 9 a.m. and noon on Saturday.
Salvation Army spokesperson David Yarmuth parents who need to pick up gifts you
can either stop by the campus or call the main office to check at (502)
671-4900. Parents can also still get their gifts on the final make-up day,
January 7.
