LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Boy Scouts decked the halls at Saint Vincent De Paul's open hand kitchen.
Friday, the Scouts held their third consecutive party for homeless men who stay overnight at the shelter.
Organizers said the event isn't only fun, but it is also a good lesson.
St. Vincent De Paul Executive Director Ed Wnorowski explained, "Instantly when you start sharing some refreshment, the walls come down and people begin to realize that even though they may be homeless, these people are just like me."
