MADISON, IN (WAVE) – The man who drove into a crowd of people at the Madison Regatta in 2006 has been arrested again on drug charges.

Madison Police said Michael Bowen and two other people were arrested after officers found a backpack meth lab behind a house on 2nd Street.

Dozens of people were injured on July 2, 2006 when Bowen plowed his car into the stands at the Madison Regatta after huffing chemicals and smoking pot. He was sentenced to four years in prison.
