P&L reimbursement deadline approaching

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The deadline for residents affected by a train derailment and fire to submit detour mileage claims is approaching.

Paducah & Louisville Railway is offering cash for people who had to drive out of their way to avoid Dixie Highway and costs caused by evacuations made after the October 29 train derailment.

If you were affected and need to make a claim, you are asked to call P&L at (800) 786-5204.

The deadline to submit claims to the railway is 5 p.m. on January 19. For business related claims call (502) 492-5937.
