A good neighbor helps 8 people escape a fire.
Cincinnati fire crews were called to a fire on Carll Street in North
Fairmont early Saturday morning.
A neighbor reported that the house next door was on
fire. After making the call, the neighbor went next door and let everyone know the house was on fire.
Fire crews were able to put the fire out quickly.
The damage is confined to a second floor bedroom and
attic areas. Investigators believe the fire was caused by an electrical short.
Four adults and 4 children were displaced by the blaze and are being assisted by
Red Cross.
