Indian Summer Camp
Indian Summer Camp is a local non-profit organization, whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for children with cancer and their families through camp and recreational programs. Indian Summer Camp hosts a weeklong, overnight camp for children aged 6-18 who are currently undergoing treatment for cancer or who have survived a childhood cancer. All of Indian Summer Camp's programs are provided free of charge. Over 110 children with cancer were served by Indian Summer Camp in 2012.
CABO WABO throws two parties a year and asks guests to bring a donation and a coat for charity. This year their party will benefit the Indian Summer Camp. The party will be at the Mellwood Arts & Entertainment Center on January 12th from 8pm until 1am. Beer, wine and mixed drinks will be available for purchase and music will be provided by the "The Crashers". Admission is a minimum of a $13 donation and guests are asked to bring a new or lightly used coat for St. Vincent DePaul. You must be at least 21 years old to attend. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Indian Summer Camp.
