BOWLING GREEN, KY (WAVE) – A 1998
murder of a married woman left many questions and now police are searching for
the man they believe to be the killer, her husband.
Leland Neal is the estranged husband
of Carol Neal.
Carol disappeared in 1998 and police
said a blood-stained couch led them to believe she had been murdered.
In 2003 police were proved right after
two hikers found her skull in McCreary County.
After the discovery Carol's mother
said Leland called and asked her for a favor, "He called me and he said could
you bring the boys back over to your house this weekend I've got something I
need to do and I can't do it with them and that was the same week that they
found the skull."
Carol's mother said she believes
Leland moved Carol's remains.
Police are searching for him. If you
